This hotel is a personal favorite of ours as we have stayed here and can attest to its beauty and convenience. Located just across the street from downtown Disney you can be at downtown Disney in minutes.
As far as hotels near downtown Disney go this one rates 4.3 out of 5 by other travelers. Although priced a little higher then the other hotels its location near downtown Disney more than makes up for it. This resort is geared more towards couples but families will like it if they don’t need the “kids” programs some of the other resorts offer.

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort:
The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort is the second in our list of hotels near downtown Disney. The Wyndham lies on the northern edge of downtown Disney and rates a 3.3 out of 5. Although an older hotel with a lower rating the price can make up for this. If looking for a cheaper hotel that is convenient to downtown disney this may be for you.

This Holiday Inn Resort is located to the north of the Hilton Resort and is in easy walking distance to Downtown Disney. The resort is rated 4.5 out of 5 and one of the main reasons for this rating is the price. Of all the hotels near downtown Disney this one is one of the best priced hotels and rates high for cleanliness and friendly staff.

Royal Plaza Hotel Lake Buena Vista:
The final hotel in our list of hotels near downtown Disney is the Royal Plaza Hotel. This hotel is to the north of the Holiday Inn listed above and also gives a great price which can often be lower than the Holiday Inn. The Royal Plaza rates a 3.9 out of 5 and many of the reviewers were traveling with their family. This hotel is still within walking distance to downtown Disney but we would not recommend it with small children. On the plus side this could be considered one of the lower priced hotels within walking distance to downtown Disney.
As noted all of the hotels in our list of hotels near downtown Disney are within walking distance. Keep in mind though that these are all large hotel properties and some of the further ones may be too much of a walk for smaller children. Most offer complementary transportation to the Disney properties though which can be used if needed.
