Hilton Hotel Orlando Review:
The Hilton Hotel Orlando is located directly across from Downtown Disney at 1751 Hotel Plaza Blvd. This stretch has several hotels on it with the Hilton Hotel Orlando being the closest to downtown. Recently my wife and I stayed at this Hilton Hotel in Orlando for our anniversary and this is our review.
As with all of our trips I am the one that does most of the planning. Wanting to return to Disney for the weekend I was looking for a hotel near downtown Disney that would allow us to walk downtown and also be convenient to the airport and other Disney areas.
After searching several of the other hotels near downtown Disney I decided on the Hilton Hotel Orlando. The Hilton Hotel Orlando allowed us to walk to the Downtown area in a couple of minutes which we did several times during out trip.
Hilton Hotel Orlando Property:
The Hilton Hotel Orlando is a large property and has seven restaurants on property along with a small deli type area called the Main Street Market which served specialty coffee and light breakfast and lunch items. There were also a couple of lounges and bar areas on property that were convenient.
Although we didn’t use the pool area at the Hilton Hotel Orlando we did walk by it several times on our way to Downtown Disney and it appeared nice and not overly crowded.
I decided to spend a little extra on our room at the Hilton Hotel Orlando and purchased one with a downtown Disney view. The room was large and had a king size bed in it along with a couple of chairs and a desk. The bathroom was large and overall the room was clean. The view from our room was very nice and quite spectacular at night when the lights came on downtown.
Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful with directions at the Hilton Hotel Orlando.
Negatives at the Hilton Hotel Orlando:
The only negative I had with staying at the hotel is that they charge to park there. I wasn’t too happy about it but found out later that all of the hotels in that area charge for parking.
Positives at the Hilton Hotel Orlando:
Great location, Very Clean, Nice Large Rooms and a helpful staff. This was a great hotel for my wife and I and I would recommend the Hilton Hotel Orlando to anyone.
